Had a short screening interview with a recruiter that progressed quickly (within a couple of days) to the formal interview process. It was a pretty typical, straight forward process. There were four rounds that included a program manager, HR business representative, segment director and finally the segment general manager interview. None were what I would call "difficult", especially if you have the experience they're really looking for. The interviews were cordial, comfortable and felt more like a conversation than an inquisition as they sometimes can feel like. The biggest take away I can give here is you absolutely need to be prepared to ask questions of your interviewer, and not junk questions. Show that you've done your research and get your interviewer to have to actually think about their answer before giving it.

Question 1
Amerit takes safety very seriously and each interview level you go through will always have a question about safety mindfulness and how you've managed safety issues in the past.

Text to set up phone interview. Once phone interview was completed the recruiter said she would have a response the same day. After a few days of no response I reached out. Excuses for her not following up started. Finally a zoom meeting was scheduled with the hiring manager. Zoom meeting when ok, not perfect. I have three times the experience as the hiring manager so I'm sure that hurt. I reached out to the recruiter twice and was told the last time a week ago that she would have an answer that day. It's been crickets since. Very unprofessional. Why do they let these people stand in the gateway and ruin their chances of hiring the people that can help them grow?
