J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Aon (Chicago, IL) en déc. 2011
Entretien
Brief screening call with HR; next round with hiring manager and a small panel of that manager's peers and the folks the role would work with (4 interviews total); offer extended a short time later. There were some delays between rounds which I found out later was due to the hiring managers availability, but at the time was very concerning

Question 1
Very focused on overall fit and "could I stand working with this person" type questions; technical knowledge and expertise was largely taken as a given. Tenor of the interviews were very relaxed and conversational as opposed to a "grilling"

Applied for job — nothing for a month — arranged 30 min Teams interview, went well then silence for two weeks — in-person interview, went well — two weeks no comms — then hurriedly asked for a “chat” with another team member which turned out to be a demanding interview (sceptical attitude, pointed questions). Silence for four weeks. Don’t mind if the answer is no but a very chaotic process and setting up interviews as informal chats is unfair and misleading. It’s common decency to at least confirm a decision and not leave people with silence

J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 6 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Aon (Londres, Angleterre) en mars 2022

A number of meetings, always pleasant enough. Vast gaps between responses though, no information from the company unless I pushed for it. This was for quite a senior role, didn't even do me the courtesy of a reply. Even after I contacted my most senior hiring manager directly, no response, nothing. If this is indicative of the culture, it's highly shabby and must be a horrible please to work.

Several interviews, drawn out process, generic/canned follow-ups. Recruiter extremely flighty and disconnected. Forced to follow up several times to get an answer on the outcome of the offer. Red flags all around! A giant like Aon - totally shocked to experience their outdated, untimely HR practices. Left a lot to be desired. Get it together Aon!
