Contacted by a friend already working there, 2 over the phone interviews, a 1:1 with future manager, then a trip to Dallas to be interviewed by Americas Sales VP and other future peers, HR contacted me to get references and help with background check.

The process I have recently been through was 5 stages with the final interview being with the global industry VP.
Following these 5 interviews they decided to promote internally, they made it clear after the fact that the internal candidate was always likely to get the promotion.
Almost no feedback was given despite the numerous hours taken up on both sides.

A few of the interviewers did not seem well prepared or experienced in interviewing.

Had a call with HR and then met the Hiring manager and then the regional manager.
3 calls in total all friendly and easy to talk with. Basically, discuss your background and motivation for the role.

- Business case presentation and interview with hiring manager and another manager.
- Final interview in Barcelona office.
After all this process they didn't come back to me and got no feedback at all.. it was a total waste of time.
