I have been invited for an initial interview with HR regarding a very suitable for me position I never applied for. I was very excited and choose first possible time slot for the interview (next morning). Needless to say I came prepared. The whole "interview" (actually - HR monologue) was about 10 minutes, where HR read already prepared text regarding benefits' package and company culture, which, of course made me even more excited. HR also explained that there will be 3-round interview process and I will receive an invite in couple of days to continue further. Absolutely no chance to talk about myself and my credentials at all! In couple of days I have received polite "copy-paste" refusal... I politely requested brief talk with hiring manager as I assumed some misunderstanding... unfortunately the rude, few words response was that the position has been filled; hence no further talk is possible! Filled? Two days after my initial interview, initiated by the company, without any chance to even say a word about my credentials?! There are some red lines in ethics, which should never be crossed no matter what, by any company...
