Well, I was really nervous to be honest. What I wore was dress clothes (as a female, I wore black slacks and a nice dress shirt, silver earrings, and a silver necklace. I wore black flats for shoes). I interviewed with a real cool guy, he was the "director of awesomeness" haha. I felt more comfortable as we talked because he was very relaxed. We talked about how his shoes matched his pants and all lol.
It started with me signing my application that they printed out, stating that everything was correct and truthful.
There was 8 questions they asked. Pretty much questions like:
How do you know a customer is finished with your help?
When have you had to deal with a difficult group in school or work and what was the outcome?
Have you ever worked with a difficult person and how did it end?
How have you handled a difficult customer?
How do you make a customer trust you?
What are some of your hobbies?
Just easy and general questions; I answered some of the questions with my personal life experience rather than work experience, because some of them I didn't really experience in my previous career.
I'd say it went pretty well. It sounded like they really wanted me, and he tried to get the schedule for the 3rd interview with the Store Manager, but he has to get a hold of her. So just waiting for that call.
I've read online that if you get past the 2nd interview, you've got the job.
Advice: Just be natural, the manager who talked to me on the phone to set up an interview was also really nice, just asked a couple of questions about me, a short little interview. I didn't notice it until I read online what the interview process was haha. Be honest and but sound positive while doing it. I'm an outgoing person and I communicate well with different people and they like that! So be on top of that for sure!
All in all, it was fairly easy. I just become a nervous wreck when I'm being judged for something I really want. Good luck to everyone!
