I was contacted by a Scheduler for a position that I had applied to online. I was to be contacted by a Recruiter via phone. At the start time of the interview, I was called by the Scheduler to move the interview as the Recruiter was suddenly unavailable. When I did have my phone interview with the Recruiter, she was very pleasant and we had a lively discussion. She was considering me for multiple roles. At the conclusion, she stated that she would bring me in to meet the hiring manager and one of his colleagues. She was to contact me later that day or the next for a specific date/time. I was never contacted, nor did I get a response to my follow up emails. I expected much more in the hiring process but was sad to see that BCG did not have a higher standard. Damaging the brand in the recruiting process will eventually erode their status as an "Employer of Choice" to potential employees.
