A recruiter sought me out on LinkedIn for this role. I went through several rounds with up to 8 people across the team. After talking to several people, they asked me to give a presentation to multiple team members. I was given an assignment on a Thursday afternoon and expected to turn it around by Monday morning. They recorded this presentation. The final video chat, I did not receive the correct Teams link and was unable to connect. After weeks of asking to reschedule, I received a phone call that I didn't have the competencies for the role. I thought this was not actionable feedback because the recruiter pursued me for the role. The fact that they still had rounds after this was also unbelievable to me because this process had already taken up so many hours of time. I believe the company really just wanted to take my presentation for research or educational purposes based on what they wanted me to present.
