I made it through the first few phone interviews including the mock sales call, and I was then invited to the Chicago office for an in-person interview. Due to COVID-19, all candidates were sent home 30 minutes after arriving to the office. After traveling back from Chicago, I had 1 30-minute interview on the phone. The recruiter that I was assigned to changed and took off roles on my resume for some reason. I spoke about those roles during the interview and clearly surprised the interviewer. This is obviously a terrible look on my part and I was not offered the position. Advice to BrightEdge: don’t change candidates resumes with valuable experience.
