I applied for several remote jobs and was selected to interview for 2 of them. However, the first interview is a HireVue interview. If you are not familiar, it is a recorded video interview that "grades" your words, expressions, eye contact, etc., and provides a score to the company. I know I am not great at recorded video interviews, but HireVue is the worst. Despite being qualified, I didn't move to the next round of interviews for either of those positions but thought oh well! Then comes a recruiter who reaches out to tell me I hadn't been selected for another of the applications, but I would be a great fit for a 3rd position which I had not even applied for. I reluctantly agreed to another HireVue interview, and guess what, never heard from the recruiter again, not even to say thanks, but no thanks! I will never apply for another position with CVS again and would not recommend them to anyone I know.
