      Entretien

I interviewed with Capco in July 2018 for a couple of rounds. The interviews went well, but they kept giving vague responses to my request for an update. They seem to be doing only IT implementation projects for banks and hire only when they have project staffing requirement. Felt like being interviewed for a contract project role even though it was a full-time job. Explains the culture and how they treat employees internally – staffing them on ad-hoc implementation projects and no real consulting work. Someone one year in told me you need to be a yes-man to succeed, and that explains all the talk about favoritism. If you have IT experience and want to remain in that domain, it could be a good place. A typical exit, I would assume, would be to IT teams in Banks.

We set ourselves very high standards in our recruitment process and use all feedback to continually enhance the process and improve the experience. We do hire for a variety of consulting roles on an ongoing basis and we always aim to keep candidates constantly updated on their application and recognize the time that a candidate invests in our process. However, from your comments, it seems that on this occasion our usual high standards were not met and we apologize for this. If you would like to discuss your application further, please reach out to our global HR Director, David Heffernan, David.heffernan@capco.com.

They do multiple rounds of interviews with different teams - first an intro with the Human Resources recruiter, then a manager, and then technical team to gauge fit of your experience.

Positive My interview process with Capco was one of the most welcoming and respectful experiences I’ve had in consulting. Every person I met was friendly, genuine, and intentional about creating a comfortable environment. There were no “gotcha” or trick questions — the conversations were straightforward, fair, and focused on understanding my experience. I appreciated that they gave me time to think, ask for clarity, and speak openly without feeling judged. There was no sense of elitism or ego from anyone on the panel. Compared to other firms I’ve interviewed with, Capco’s culture felt noticeably more positive and grounded. I left the interview feeling respected, valued, and confident that my background and experiences were truly appreciated.

Interview process was fairly smooth, mostly verbal questions and no live coding/coding exercises. Overall a nice experience. Some issues after accepting the offer however, they then took 3 weeks to get back in contact with me. The response was that the role was no longer needed and i may get hired as a "culpability" role. Within 24 hours this was then changed to their is a role after all. This part was rather stressful.
