Applied through a headhunter. After a short screening, I was invited onsite to Capital Group’s Singapore office. The process consisted entirely of a two-hour PowerPoint publishing test. I was placed alone in a room with a laptop. There was very little interaction or guidance provided, and the session started later than scheduled even though I had arrived early.
The test itself was realistic in terms of the publishing work expected, but the setup felt very transactional and impersonal. Unlike other assessments I’ve experienced where a staff is nearby for clarifications, here there was no opportunity to ask questions. Overall, it felt more like a benchmarking exercise than a collaborative interview.
