Would NOT recommend. TIGERSPIKE PULLED THEIR OFFER THE DAY BEFORE I WAS DUE TO START WORKING THERE. Here is how it went: I interviewed for a contract position with Tigerspike. To being with, they moved the time of my interview twice, on the same day. Great time management indeed... When we finally had the interview, it was a 60 minutes call during which I was asked to do some live coding on a project that they shared with me. Please note that AT NO POINT the interviewer told me anything about the project or gave me the chance to ask questions about the project. Maybe Tigerspike doesn't think developers should be interested in what they do? Even so, the interview went well and I received a positive feedback from my recruiter, saying Tigerspike wanted to make an offer, to which I replied that I was glad to hear that, but my professionalism obliged me to ask more information about the project before I could accept their offer. My recruiter then organised a phone call with someone from Tigerspike, where I finally had the chance to ask a few questions about the project. Feeling satisfied with the answers, I went back to the recruiter saying I was going to accept the offer, beginning the week after. He said he would get me all the paperwork two days before my proposed start date. Two days before my start date I still hadn't received the paperwork, so I contacted my recruiter the day after and here's the surprise: TIGERSPIKE PULLED THEIR OFFER THE DAY BEFORE I WAS DUE TO START WORKING THERE. I have been doing this job for seven years, and I've never seen anything like this. I wouldn't recommend this company to any serious software engineer.

I'd like to first apologise that you had such a negative experience with us at Tigerspike and assure you that it was our understanding that the recruitment agency had given you sufficient information about the project (despite it being under NDA) before interviewing. I would like to add that in the time between making the offer and receiving a response for this short term contract position, there were changes to the project that meant we no longer required someone full time, so I hope you can understand the reason behind this. We have taken your feedback on board and do really appreciate the time you have taken.
