Attended an Open House and had face to face interviews on site with a Recruiting Manager, Facility Administrator and Operations Director. I also spoke with the Regional VP of Operations during the process. I was directed to officially apply through their website for a specific position and told the formalities & legal requirements had to be taken care of, but an offer would definitely be made. I completed the application the same day and received an email to schedule a phone interview. The phone interviewer actually commented about management already making their hiring decision and seemed to feel slighted about not being part of the decision. I had to follow up with the Recruiting Manager in order to receive the on-line assessment that the recruiter kept claiming to have sent. I finally received it (4 days later) and completed it immediately. After the assessment, I interviewed with a Group Facility Administrator and continued on to interview with a Regional Operations Director. During this whole process, I continued to get phone calls to schedule interviews for different facilities and departments in the same company. No one seemed to be communicating internally about their applicant tracking and they had no idea I was already in the interview process. During the process it was clear that some managers were very new to the interviewing process for management. The more I interviewed, the more questionable the company became. There was a definite lack of cohesiveness on the clinical level and my questions about the type of and amount of support available to ensure success of a clinic were met with answers of “You’re considered the mini-CEO of your facility”. I took the responses to mean, support would be minimal at best. After emailing back and forth for over a month with the ROD and continuously being told I would hear something either in a few days or the next week, I gave up. This also affirmed my concern about their straightforwardness, rather their lack of it. About 3-4 weeks later, I received a call for yet another interview, for the same position. I reluctantly went. All of the questions asked were a regurgitation of questions I’d been asked on the previous interviews and this time there were 2 interviewers. I was told my interview was flawless and that I was obviously well prepared, trained and qualified. Toward the end of the interview they tried to convince me to take a Tech position to “get your foot in the door” reasoning that “the job market is terrible right now and you could quickly move up into a management position”. I was told that if I would take the Tech position at $17/hr, I would be handed the papers to sign on the spot. The interviewer actually said, “Well, only you know what your breaking point is and when that time comes where you’ll have to just take something. Ask yourself if you’re at that point.” The same interviewer boasted about their current position being the 3rd one held within the past 18months – 2yrs. This was a red flag for me about the company’s stability and training. I was then asked an illegal interview question and one of the interviewers stated, “I probably shouldn’t have asked that but, if it ever comes back, it would be our word against yours anyway”. After this unbelievable statement, both interviewers laughed about it and the same one stated, “Oh yeah and Integrity is one of our core values”. Then they laughed again! I thanked them for the interview and without asking any other questions, I left. I didn’t ask for a business card, follow up, or ever want to hear from this company again.

It was a very positive experience. They ask you the typical questions. most of them are STAR method. Recruiter was very kind and really listened to what I had to say and they got back to me very fast which I was pleasantly surprised with.

I was contacted by Solanki Majumder regarding the initial interview. She conducted a phone interview and let me know she would reach out with next steps. She reached out to me on Tuesday to ask if I was available for a virtual interview with Regional Manager Stephen Betzler on that same Thursday. I let her know that, unfortunately, I wouldn’t be available because I was flying into Houston to wrap up my duties at my current job. She stated that Stephen would be unable to meet any other day and asked if I could make another time work. I let her know that I would try to make it work before 12:00 PM. Because of flight delays, I was unable to complete the virtual interview. I attempted to reach out to Solanki as soon as possible, but she didn’t answer. She called me back and said she wasn't sure whether Stephen would be able to reschedule, but she would let me know. She texted me later that day to update me on a new interview time. At the start of the virtual interview, Stephen let me know that this was his first healthcare job, that he’d been there for 3 years, and that he’d worked at Target prior to his time with DaVita. I let him know that my current role was also my first in healthcare, but that I’d worked in it for 5 years. During those 5 years, I’ve had the pleasure of managing 7 commercial offices (4 at one time) and 2 senior health offices. Stephen ended the interview by letting me know that he’d have Solanki reach out to me with next steps by eod or the next day. After not hearing anything from Solanki, I emailed her and Stephen thanking them for their time and asking if there was any additional information regarding next steps. They let me know that, unfortunately, they would not be moving forward with my application due to a lack of experience. This struck me as odd; by definition, I have more experience than Stephen. I was turned down from managing one healthcare office, yet in my current role I collectively manage 4 offices.

1st Was Phone interview with recruiter: They asked questions about my background, and behavioral questions. It took about 45 minutes and she took a lot of notes. 2nd Was a Panel Interview with other Facility Administrators and Group Facility Administrators. All of the questions were behavioral questions, mostly about how you have handled certain situations in the past. It is important that you are thorough with the recruiter and in your resume because the panel will have your resume pulled up and the notes from the recruiter. 3rd Was an interview with the Regional Director, which she asked behavioral questions as well as trying to get an understanding of my knowledge of the business aspect of the position. 4th I did a shadow day at the facility with the Regional Director and acting Facility Administrator. i was shown the facility and met some of the staff. Its important to have a lot of questions and get a chance to have a one on one with the Regional Director if they are their. Finally I did an interview with the VP and Director or Persons. This interview was intense, The will ask behavioral questions but they will want to know the thought process, the why and the how when you make a decision. Also they will focus on whatever shortcoming you may have and ask how you plan to overcome it.
