Day I applied I received an email to take a personality assessment then got a call the day after I applied by a recruiter, spoke with him for 15 minutes and he sent my info to the facility administrator of the Harrisburg office. I got a call that same day and set up an interview for the following week. Went to interview, it went very well, I loved the staff and patients were friendly, he told me the awesome benefits the company offers, what their values are, it's a real family environment at this office. I set up a job shadow for the following week, was there for 3 hours it went great, I really enjoyed seeing everyone in action. The FA said I should expect a call from his manager to move the process along. After a week I called him because I hadn't heard anything, he apologized and said I should hear something by the time the week was out (it was a Thursday) it's a week later, haven't heard a peep. The interview process is long and drawn out and can waste people's time if they're not interested. At this point I'm not expecting a call, I wouldn't accept a position based on how they treat new candidates.
Interesting, the interviewer was very enthusiastic and supportive. They really emphasized communicating calmly with coworkers and helping prioritize tasks. It was a very humbling interview, despite how easy-going the interviewer was.

I applied to DaVita even after seeing many negative reviews from current and former employees, hoping my experience would be different. Unfortunately, it confirmed what I had already read.
Throughout the hiring process, I tried to be as flexible as possible. After completing the first interview as well as a 1.5-hour job shadow (which gave me the impression I was moving forward), I was told they were selecting another candidate because I “wasn’t flexible to float around to different clinics.” I clearly stated to the manager that I was willing to travel to other clinics if needed. Despite that, This explanation felt inconsistent with what I had communicated from the beginning.
The lack of transparency and clear communication made the entire process feel unprofessional and misleading. I invested my time and effort based on expectations they set, only to be given a reason that didn’t align with the facts.
If you are considering applying here, I would advise looking into other dialysis companies first.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. Initial recruiter phone call, on-site preview of the clinic and talk/interview with the facility administrator after. Whole process took about a month or so. Recruiter checked in a few times as well.
