Entretien
The interview process at DuPont consisted of three rounds:
- 1st Round: A video call screening with an EMEA recruiter, lasting about 45 minutes (originally scheduled for 1 hour). This round focused on formalities and general fit.
- 2nd Round: A one-hour video interview with the hiring manager. This round was more personal and aimed at getting to know me better.
- 3rd Round: An on-site panel interview with six interviewers, lasting around three hours. It began with a 15-minute presentation on a topic of my choice, followed by questions. Afterwards, there were three interview sessions, each lasting 45 minutes with two interviewers per session.
The entire process from application to job offer took exactly three months. This was partly due to the Christmas holidays and an unexpected sick leave from the hiring manager.
Overall, the process was very transparent and professional. During the interviews, I felt valued and comfortable. The recruiter kept me informed throughout and was highly responsive. It became clear that DuPont values teamwork, which I noticed from the types of questions asked during the interviews.
My tips:
- Always be respectful
- Be yourself and don’t pretend to know more than you do
- Take the time to understand DuPont’s core values (safety, respect, sustainability, ethics)

Would you prefer working independently on a small-scale machine or collaboratively as part of a team on a large production line?
How would I increase the safety of my pilot plant? (This question was asked during the on-site interview following my presentation on my bachelor’s thesis, which focused on developing a pilot plant for polymer production.)

Entretien
Three rounds of interviews:
1. HR Talent Acquisitions Screening. "Tell me about yourself" (30 min discussion) General description of role.
2. Hiring Manager Screening. A little deeper into past experience. Deeper description of the role.
3. Plant Tour & two 1 hour interviews with engineers and managers. Good questions looking for STAR answers mostly looking to discuss past work experience and get a read on soft skills. Favorite question was, "Tell me a time you took a risk and how it played out."

Entretien
It was a simple greeting at first. Self-introduction gave among interviewing and well understood the work content. The expectations of this position and challenges in this role were also discussed. Whole interviewing proceedede around 1 hour.
