I interviewed for this position many months ago. Recently, HR contacted me to check if I was still interested and if there were any changes to my expected salary. They mentioned that the hiring process was halted due to a management decision last time.
Despite knowing they couldn't meet my salary expectations, the HR team scheduled an interview, claiming the salary was approved. After the final interview, I learned that the workload had increased by 50%, which was a blatant red flag. During the interview, the C-level executives kept mentioning that they have a great team, they want someone to be stable, and they insisted that each task for the role was easy. Yet, HR remained silent, which I found weird.
In the end, they made an offer with the same salary, completely disregarding my expectations. This entire process was a total waste of my time, and their behaviour was utterly disrespectful.
