J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Equitable Advisors (Cherry Hill, NJ) en juin 2014
Entretien
Applied to RBG through my school's online job board. One phone interview and one in person interview. There was a battery of personality tests. The reviewer was professional but in my opinion not totally straightforward about the nature of the company. It's really an insurance company more than a financial planning company. In RBG I was told that I would be going to schools in the morning afternoon and night trying to sign people up for the employer sponsored retirement plan.

Question 1
Why do you want to be a financial advisor?
What experience do you have that would help to prepare you for this role?
Incredibly easy, they aim to hire anyone with a pulse to sell life insurance and annuities. Beware of the comp structure and ask about the bonus and override your manager will get from all of your work.

Very laid back. I was never asked any question about my job experience or any of the sorts. The interview consisted of a 15 minute conversation of small talk and getting to know the VP of the team you will be working under. The second stage was at the office location where you learn about the company and meet some of the staff.

Very easy interview, not too many questions they ask more listening to what they have to say about the role. Just know that you’ll have to find prospects on your own when starting off
