J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Flexport (Amsterdam) en mars 2019
Entretien
3 interviews:
1 phone HR, 1 skype with logistics case study, 1 in-person in Amsterdam with customer support case + 1 in-person on same day with upper management (just like everyone described, they make it seem impromptu)
Good points:
The process was speedy. The interviews were simple. The people were polite. The atmosphere was more casual.
Bad points:
The salary is pretty bad considering they're based in Amsterdam, and looking for 2 or more years of experience.
They make you sign an NDA before you even step through the door (they are really paranoid and that threw me off big time).
After passing everything, they sent me a contract online.
The contract was INSANE. I frankly don't know how any intelligent and ambitious person can sign it. It had points on me having to vest (give up) ALL (past/present/future) your intellectual property EVEN AFTER you end your employment with Flexport. There were also points on sending all your personal information/data to the United States including 3rd parties (so basically EU privacy laws no longer apply, nor do the US ones, cause you're not a US citizen). The contract was the definition of shady. This is why i did not sign with them.
I'm concerned at the amount of people that actually end up signing it, and i implore you to think twice about vesting your inventions to a company so easily.
Overall:
If you have any ambitions/self-worth/confidence in your ability to generate ideas in the past/present/future, don't bother accepting offers from them.
There are a lot of comments on here about them "looking for the best" -> lol, no. They're looking for the desperate and/or foolish, and if you don't believe that, then you're their perfect target.
there were three stages: a regular interview with questions such as telling the interviewer about yourself and some STAR style questions, a case study interview surrounding dealing with an unhappy client/losing client’s supplies, and an interview which surrounded questions on drive and resilience.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Simple star style questions: ‘give me a time you were able to automate a… and solved an issue in your former/current workplace’
Following stages were case studies and an interview discussing drive and resilience
4 rounds with good communication on he next step for each round. Started with a phone call with a recruiter and moved up to meeting with the office GM at the end of the process
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Flexport (Chicago, IL) en mai 2024
Entretien
Phone screen followed up by interview with hiring manager. Got an auto email saying they were moving on with other candidates whose skills more closely aligned with what they were looking for.
