Since the very beginning I felt that the recruitment team genuinely cares for the applicants. I have had 1 first call whereby a talent sourcer explained me the role, the expectations of working hours and most importantly: development opportunities, skills gained in the job and expected salary: this is great because most of the times applicants need to pretend they like the job without knowing the salary or the expected personal development gains: When companies such as Facebook (company I was applying for as well) try to hide these 2 key aspects, applicants get anxious I genuinely not sure whether they are motivated to continue the application process or not.
Also, every time there was an interaction, HR always called me after asking ‘’How did it go?’’ – Which felt extremely good -. This was the very first time I started to believe in the values of integrity and objectivity that Gartner promotes internally and externally.
Also, decisions were made very fast – within 2 days, and sometimes 2 hours – I had an answer as to whether I had passed to the next phase or not: This is incredible and makes you want to search for more information about the company and makes you believe that is possible to get in;
I specially like the way you set up the agenda for the call in the beginning, it allows to break the ice and make the applicant less nervous about what to expect.
Also, HR was willing to help me when I sent my PPT for the Final Presentation: once again, it felt that the company really worked as a team and that HR was always in contact to the Service Team Managers (ex.: Camilla Klang, for instance).
All in all, the attention paid by all of the associates who interviewed me made me chose Gartner and not other company. It felt real, professional and most importantly it felt we are in a people’s business and that interpersonal relationships are crucial for success at Gartner.

It was a great process for me. There were 3 rounds of interviews and each round came with a pleasant experience. Each person I met with was great! I would highly recommend.
