GoPro’s people were what really set the company apart from the other opportunities I was considering. Every person I met throughout the process was welcoming, thoughtful, and passionate about both the products and the team. The interview process was thorough without feeling overwhelming. It included conversations with the hiring manager and a senior designer, a portfolio presentation, and several additional interviews with team members from different disciplines. Each discussion felt like a two-way conversation rather than an interrogation, which gave me a great sense of the culture, expectations, and the people I'd be working with. Overall, it was one of the most positive interview experiences I've had and left me excited about the opportunity to join the team.

The interview process consisted of a HR interview to review the general qualifications and then a meeting with the hiring manager for a personality fit. From there, the focused more on design convos and interviews with the lead designer, a portfolio presentation to the team, several 2:1 interviews, a HR negotiation, and then a hiring decision.
