After the interview the recruiter sent several follow up messages to let me know that a decision hadn’t been made yet( I got that email every week for 3 weeks). Finally, the recruiter emailed to schedule a call. The day of the call, the recruiter emailed and asked to reschedule again to share some important information with me. Finally the call happens…the recruiter wanted me to know they hired for all 3 positions internally but were so impressed with me they wanted to know if I would like to be considered for another role they were actively hiring for? My response..sure. The recruiter’s response: “ There is no guarantee that you will get that job, because they are also hiring internally for that position as well. I mean, I read the reviews…but I guess I needed to see for myself.
