      The interview process was clear. I had two interviews (first round: recruiter, and second round: director) First round seemed like they were looking for someone who has hospitality and service-minded and can speak English fluently. Second round was similar, but the director asked me wether or not I accept the offer if they do so.

      Interviewers were kind and straight forward. Salary was disclosed in the first interview which I appreciated. Overall, the interview process was smooth and pleasant. Interviewers answered all of my questions.

      The company was testing a pilot program where you participate in a virtual hiring event. You applied online through the link on the website, filled out a screening questionnaire and that's it, you were booked for an "interview". Now onto the interview potion. Worst experience ever. First, my interviewer was over 30 minutes late to my scheduled time slot. When they actually showed up, my interviewer didn't even bother to review my resume prior to the interview. All questions they asked were your typical questions that any recruiter may ask you during a phone screening, for example. When asked what the next steps in the hiring process were, I was informed that some hiring/talent manager, who by the way was not present during the interview, would make the call based on who moves forward based on a set of notes from questions that do not even measure your ability to succeed in the role. For a company who's goal it is to empower and help jobseekers, Indeed failed miserably in this so called pilot hiring event project. For others who are considering joining a hiring event from Indeed, do yourself a favor and don't. It was the most unprofessional experience I have had.
