HR contacted me for an interview in the morning via phone and expected me to be available for the interview on the same day in the afternoon. I happened to be available so I agreed to it. Interview details were sent to my email but it did not specify whom I will meet and whether it was a video or just audio interview. When I joined the interview, I then found out that there were 2 interviewers in total. They did not turn on their videos but requested me to turn on mine. I don't think the interviewers were sincere in interviewing me or even paying any attention at all. Everything I told them, I had to repeat more than once and they asked questions which I already explained or answered. I explained the type of company I was currently working for and where the HQ was, and the interviewer still asked me the same question. I explained the region and countries that I covered, and again I was asked the same question after I explained. I explained my reason and rationale for wanting to leave, but the interviewer interrogated me and doubted my words. I explained my compensation package and the interviewer asked me why my company offered certain benefits, which in my opinion was very intrusive. The interview spoke very unprofessionally and in a very unpolished manner, and I did not feel respected as a candidate. The worst question I was asked was "you dropped your resume on LinkedIn right, so it means you are looking out of the window. Why?" The question was phrased in an extremely unprofessional manner. ' Did not hear back whether I made the interview or not. No email, calls or anything to provide the candidate with an update.
