The interview process was very tiring and time-consuming. It took almost 8 hrs to complete all the rounds that too in a weekday. There were 5 rounds, out of which 3 technical and rest managerial and HR rounds. I have cleared all the rounds and at last, had the HR interview to discuss the salary and other benefits. After all these rounds finished, I received a mail after 2 days for documentation, on which I replied with the necessary docs asked. Since then I didn't receive any communication from them and its been more than a month now. When I called HR, she was initially not picking up my phone but finally, she did. When I asked her about the status, she rudely replied saying the position is closed and we will get back to you if we come across any such requirements in the near future. Now, I don't see any reason to reject my profile after clearing every round with very good feedback, and moreover, I have only 1 month of notice period to serve so even this can't be a reason.
My suggestion to the Company is to give a proper justification for why you are rejecting a candidate after all the documentation and everything. Please understand that an Interviewee has to take a day off to attend the interview , if he/she didn't heard back from you, he/she feels cheated. This bring down the employer's reputation and motivation to join among the candidates.
Hope this issue will be addressed soon, and nobody will face this which I had to face.
