I went to their premises on a working day to attend the interview. There were 4 rounds in total & it took a whole day.
1st 2 rounds were purely technical, you need to be GOOD AT DS & ALGO. I cleared them it seems, by which time it was 3 hours past. Then they told us to have lunch & 3rd round will be there, which was supposed to be a managerial round, but ended up being a technical again.
Then by 4pm evening, i was asked to wait for HR round. But by 5pm, they informed HRs left office, hence the manager doubled up as a HR, and one more technical round was there. This sort of seemed informal, and he also asked more about my company, areas of expertise, etc. Then i was asked to leave for the day, being told that the result will be announced 3 days later.
After 3 days HR phoned and told I was shortlisted for offer, and salary negotiations & documents were asked. I did the same, and was told offer letter would be sent shortly. But I waited for days, asked through mail, no reply, HR not picking up phone. Then one fine day, she picked my call and said due to
'some reasons' the project recruitment was cancelled. I was frustrated by this behaviour. but the HR said there is one more opening for another team, are you willing to attend just 2 rounds, i said ok and went again. I cleared all 2 rounds - 1 technical & 1 managerial, more easily than before.
Then 2 days later, I called them to know the result and now the HR said the same thing - "SOMEHOW project requirement is stopped".
Such an irresponsible behaviour. Why do they ask candidates to come for interview if they have no requirements ?
Then 2 months later, i got a call saying that my first offer which was put on hold was being offered. But by that time, I had got a competing offer, and asked them to raise CTC, which they didn't , hence I simply rejected it.
