The interview process for the Systems Engineer (Trainee) role at Infosys was simple and smooth in my case. I directly had a single HR interview round without any technical or aptitude test. The interviewer mainly asked questions based on my resume, including my education, projects, and skills that I had mentioned. Most of the discussion focused on understanding my background, communication skills, willingness to learn, and interest in joining Infosys. I was also asked general HR questions like self-introduction, strengths and weaknesses, and career goals. The interview was conversational, lasted around 20–25 minutes, and overall it was a positive and comfortable experience as a student/fresher.

Overall easy type of questions were asked. First our introduction, then moved on to resume based questions, tech stacks used, basic HR questions, our strengths and weaknesses, relocation readiness, overall the questions were answerable.
