They were trying to decide whether I could best fill the role of developer of designer (I've done both), so I was interviewed both by Product folks (they didn't have any other designers at the time) and by Engineers. There was a phone interview and then a day full of in-person interviews culminating with an interview with the CEO. Questions ranged from how to deal with difficult design issues to describing all the different ways to call a javascript function.
