Entretien
We were invited to a recruitment evening after handing our CV in to the store. It consisted of about 40 other applicants for 2 sales assistant and 1 stock assistant position. We were involved in all the same tasks despite the differing job roles so I assume they like the applicants to be well rounded for all aspects of Lush basically. We focused on team listening as an activity in which we had to listen to an allocated partner and reflect later back to the group about key facts about the person, had to list down our availability and also had to do a quick role play to sell a product to another allocated partner.

No questions were really asked apart from "Tell us about your partner", "Where are you from" etc just general chit chat in a giant swarm of people... Top tip is to be extroverted!

It was a 15min short interview and the interviewers were really friendly. They asked about experience, why I want to work at Lush and showed me some examples of pictures and what I would address.

How would you handle a specific situation based on pictures
This was by far the most enjoyable interview I've ever had, and the most enjoyable job overall. It was a group interview at the store for roughly 1-2 hours, made up of a number of different activities like "put together a selection of items that you would use to unwind", "spot what's wrong with this section of the shop floor", etc. And then in between these activities we would be called one by one to have our more traditional one-to-ones. There were snacks put out for everyone, the first task involved us getting to know each other by just walking around and chatting, and we ended the evening by playing a game of 'two truths and a lie' in a big circle, all sat on the floor. The whole process was very comfortable; they wanted you to feel like you were hanging out with some friends. If you have an interview here, there's absolutely no need to be nervous.

Pretty easy process, the questions weren't too hard and then went onto a test run where you deal with stocking on the main floor. Just had to deal with some heavy boxes full of various products plus theres alot of bath bomb dust.
