I went for an in-person interview at the Ruddington office after being contacted while I was studying at university through LinkedIn, and the interview itself went fine. But having to travel to a business park, prepare for the interview, and then get no response at all is really disappointing, especially from an HR company. I work in HR now and would never treat candidates like that, it doesn’t reflect well on the company.
It feels like the Payroll Analyst role at MHR is treated as a more junior position, so they don’t bother giving feedback or updates. I even emailed asking for feedback, but still got nothing. Others I knew were also contacted on LinkedIn about the role so I ended up telling them it wasn’t worth their time.

I had a screening call, which in itself was poorly organised. I didn’t receive confirmation of the interview until about an hour before it was due to take place, and that was only after I had chased several times during the week as I hadn’t received any confirmation or Teams link.
The call itself seemed to go well, and I was told I would be invited to a second, in-person interview. However, after this I heard nothing and was ghosted.
Completely unacceptable behaviour for any company in my opinion, never mind an HR company.

I was approached on LinkedIn by one of the talent acquisition partners where we then scheduled a screening call. There was then an in person interview, followed by a second interview. Relaxed, professional, everyone I spoke to was extremely kind and welcoming. Easiest and calmest interview process that I have experienced.
