Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Medallia (Palo Alto, CA) en mai 2014
Entretien
The interview process at Medallia extremely in-depth, but despite the length I appreciated the process and investment. Initially I reached out to an acquaintance that had attended the same university in order to inquire about the open position. After going though an initial phone call/screening I was contacted by a recruiter to set up an onsite interview at their Palo Alto office. This initial interview consisted of 4 one-on-ones each lasting approximately an hour. I met with people on the team I was applying for, each approaching the interview process in their own way. Discussion ranged from my background and design philosophy, to company structure, to career goals.
Soon after receiving positive news, a final interview was scheduled (again for 4 hours). This time the interviewers had a wide range of positions, including the VP of Marketing and the company President. These one-on-ones had broader topics from technical design questions to personal history. Soon after I received a design challenge which had a timeframe of 5 hours to complete.
Overall the interviews were conversational and every Medallia employee from the front desk to the president were accommodating and friendly. I felt the interviews looked most closely for technical capability and culture fit.

I went through a phone call with the recruiter, then a phone call with the Creative Director, and then I went in for an in-person interview with the Creative Director, a designer on the team, and the VP of Brand. I didn't get an offer, and I was called to receive positive feedback and the reason for not moving forward.

I had 2 initial calls with a recruiter and they both went very well. We clicked and I really felt like his personality reflected the company culture. Then when I interviewed with the hiring manager it felt like a complete 360. I was very excited about the opportunity but she seemed cold and uninterested in talking with me. Her questions were as if she was looking for solutions to her current problems, not relevant to hiring me or getting to know me. I was expecting someone who wanted to talk to me, not someone who just wanted to get it done with.
