J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Monster Worldwide (Sydney) en avr. 2022
Entretien
For me, this was a humiliating experience, and disrespectful of my time.
The process focused on a tedious and obscure home coding task. The contact person bluntly refused to clarify requirement, which could have saved hours of unpaid work (I didn't ask for for coding hints, just a plain yes/no response on whether to cover this and that edge cases).
For two days of work, I was "rewarded" with a humiliating one-line email "Hi, your code was sub-standard, regards". I don't believe it could have been that bad, as I've worked in Big Tech companies and left with good references. My submission included industry standards such as unit tests, clean coding, design patterns, asynchronous calls when appropriate etc. Even if they expected more, they could have shared more constructive criticism.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They asked not to share the exact question, but it was a a home coding exercise involving mathematical calculations that work on buffers.
Talk with HR person about the company. Right after talk with 5 people from technical team about myself and the previous experiences. At the end 2 hours for writing a demo application
