Application process took months before I managed to get an email from the recruiter to arrange for a screen call. After the first round, I waited for a response from the recruiter about the next step but the wait was long. My experience and skill set ticked all the boxes but the hiring manager was not keen to even talk to me. The role was filled by someone who was a little less experienced than me in the same field but the person eventually exited the job after a few months. I guess the hiring manager has some weird kind of expectations for the role that nobody can fulfill. After so long, the job is still out in the market...Sad.
