A friend who worked there submitted my resume. I had one initial call with HR that went well - the recruiter was enthusiastic about NetApp and asked some good questions. Two on-site interviews with 3-4 people each time. Good questions about my background, experience and how I'd handle a particular situation.

The questions were pretty standard - though I did have one person conduct the interview in French, since I stated that I spoke French on my resume. That went better than expected.

This position was a contract position. Had to work with Contracting agency on securing the position. Then I had a phone screen with hiring manager, then face to face with team. Worked with Contracting agency on working out the details and then signed paperwork.

Interviewed with staff from several different time zones and locations. It took a while because lots of different groups had to weigh in on the decision. Overall very friendly people that took time out to be involved in selecting the correct fit for the role.

Was contacted by High Tech Connect, a firm in Pleasanton, CA who was looking to fill a contract position at NetApp on the Global Services marketing team. Offered a full-time position after a 30 minute phone interview with the hiring manager and one future colleague on the team.
