It is very naive of the reviewer to assume that he knows better than GS senior management on what kind of candidates are right for them. Many times firms want people with no relevant experience because they can be moulded the right way and they don't come with unrealistic expectations. Sounds like a case of sour grapes. Finally to call the process unethical is laughable and demonstrates his lack of maturity. GS, whether in Bangalore or anywhere else in the world takes its interview process very seriously, and this is one of the ways the firm stands out v/s competitors. Disclaimer: I don't work in GS.
