I was called by a hiring manager requesting an immediate on site interview, no prior phone interview just looked over a copy of my resume. I am an engineer but the position is for Project Management. The interview was two on one and barely followed the typical interview process. The only real question asked was, what experience do you have relating to a managers position. Half of the interview was describing to me the division they are in charge of, the typical task and typical work day. The other half was them telling me stories about unique engineering encounters.
