J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Ocado Technology (Hatfield, East of England, England) en mars 2019
Entretien
Don't bother applying here if you want feedback after your interview. The Ocado internal recruiters are very unprofessional and will completely ignore if you don't get the job - even if you got through to the final stage! No feedback, not even a formal rejection, nothing. Incredibly rude.
If a candidate takes an entire day to attend your assessment centre, the very least you should do is let them know the outcome and give some feedback.
Stages:
- Technical phone interview: 1 hour
- Assessment centre (technical and soft skill): 1 day
The assessment day is pretty exhausting (not hard) because of the time length. To Ocado: I would really recommend shortening it. We could have achieved the same outcome in 4 hours if you strip out the unnecessary parts.
Assessment centre consisted of:
- 2 hour technical pair programming exercise. You'll be sent home if you don't complete this successfully.
- Warehouse tour
- Lunch provided by ocado. You'll be left in the canteen for an hour, which I appreciated during a long day!
- Interview with IT Head. Behavioural checks, cultural fit, etc.
Questions d'entretien [3]
Question 1
Complete a half-finished project that provides a search algorithm for coordinates in a grid. Pair programming.
Thanks for the review and we're really sorry you didn't enjoy the experience or get the feedback you wanted. We'll pass this on to our Recruitment team to take a look at.
