I was found via LinkedIn by a a fabulous recruiter for one position and ended up being interviewed for the manager position of the original position (hope that isn't confusing!). I had multiple calls with the recruiter, and she helped prep me for the interview process. To say she was helpful is putting it mildly. I then had two brief phone interviews, one with the hiring manager, the other with another manager. I was then asked to come in for a panel interview. Everyone I interviewed was polite, friendly, engaging, and truly made me want to work for OfferUp. About a week later, the recruiter called to say I did not get the job, although it was close. I can honestly say I have never been heartbroken to not get a job before. I really became endeared to the atmosphere and the people of this company, and was hopeful they would want my experience in their company, but that was not the case. I hope I get the chance to interview again one day with this company!
