I filled out an online application. There are many of the typical "what would you do if" and "agree/disagree" questions that you'll find on other online applications. I was called less than a month later for an interview. Two managers spoke to me. One was friendly enough and seemed to have a genuine interest in animals - something that was missing from the staff at another pet store where I worked in the past. The other manager mumbled a lot and had a somewhat "gloomy" attitude. I couldn't understand half of his questions due to his mumbling. There were a couple of times when I just had to repeat his questions, to make sure I had understood correctly. He acted as if I were stupid and didn't know anything about my own application. "You put it [in the application], not me" was one comment.

very simple, one on one interview. asks basic questions! felt like talking to a friend instead of having a tense interview. got to know my manager in the process which was nice.
