The day I was interviewed, Corporate was also there doing their thing. I had answered an ad with the Night Care Pet Specialist title, but the actual ad suggested it was a stocking job, and they would train to use a forklift. I was called to come in for an interview. When I was interviewed, the position was described as 'some cleanging, some stocking'. I agreed to that and was hired on the spot after being interviewed by 2 managers. The actual job was no stocking and all cleaning up after, walking and feeding up to 60 dogs a night alone. Petsmart is big on their associates being "Pet Parents" so much of my interview was spent talking about my dog, cats and my daughter's horse. I showed pictures of them on my ipod and did the typical pet parent bragging. Aside from the basic "tell me about how you handled a difficult situation" and "what is your biggest challenge in the workplace" type questions, we mostly talked about dogs.
