I had applied for an open position with Pfizer in my area, but received a call about a position in another state. The interviewer let me know that the position in my area had already been filled, but wanted to see if I was open to relocation. When I told the interviewer that I was not interested in relocating, the interview eneded.

There were several steps that included starting with a phone interview and progressing to in person panel interviews. You also had to interview directly with the DM you would be assigned to. It took about 30-45 days before an offer was made.
