3 rounds of interviews with recruiter, manager, and director. Very simple/easy coding and logic questions. Questions about how you would go about testing a login page, basic math questions, and basic coding (python) questions.
The interview process for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) started with an online coding assessment that tested my programming and problem-solving skills. After that, I went through a technical interview focusing on automation frameworks, testing strategies, and debugging scenarios. I was also asked about APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Selenium and Postman. Another round covered system design and test architecture to assess my approach to scalability and testability. The final round was behavioral, where I discussed teamwork, communication, and ownership. Overall, the process evaluated both my development and testing expertise.
