I joined as a contractor. My manager was quite chill. Fortunately I shared my figma file with previous work and that helped him gain confidence in my abilities with the software. The interview with my manager was then followed up with a design challenge with the team to see how well we work together. Personally I would say I bombed the challenge. However I guess it was to see more of a personality fit.
