I was called for a phone screening after applying for the role via seek. We organised a time to chat and the recruiter called me right on time, she was personable and easy to talk to. Once our phone conversation was over, it was clear that I did not have the necessary sales experience they were looking for. The recruiter was upfront and honest about this, letting me know where I stand right away. Even though I was not successful for the position, her honestly was refreshing and much better than the usual waiting for a response and never getting one.
