The interview started with a casual, one hour Skype conversation. I had obviously heard very good things about Shopify, so I found that I was nervous going in simply because I had a vested interest in getting the job. After about five minutes, those nerves were gone. It really was just a conversation. Let them know who you are and don't expect any "where do you see yourself in five years" questions. After that, I was contacted for 'The Gauntlet'. It's tough, but I found that after going on the Shopify forums and trying to answer real merchants questions, I was more than prepared. You're not going to be able to answer everything, but if you put effort into preparing I found it really showed. Make sure you find out how to embed a little bit of code ;).

The first Interview was on phone interview. I did not pass through to next stage of the process, which was an online test. After that would be another formal interview.
