Shopify expects you to make 70 customer every day. That's the bare minimum. You are only eligible for bonuses if you help more than 70 customers per day. They don't even know how their own bonus system works, but they did tell me it's a combination of the number of customers that you help and how satisfied the customers were. Basically, you are working hard everyday. This company wants their money's worth.
The process is very looooong. I asked them several times what does the interview process look like? They didn't even know. It's a small company still trying to find its way. Be prepared for 30 hours of work to get the job.
However, there is a way to deal with them! Apply to other jobs at the same time, and hopefully secure an offer. At this point, go back to shopify and say "look I have another offer on the table, but I do want to work for you. But you need to make a decision and so do I. I don't have time for 5 more of your interviews where you are asking me the same exact things in different ways." I have a friend who did this, and she got an offer right away. Beat shopify at their own game!
I also agree with the people who wrote the other comments. It definitely felt like they wanted free work out of you. You start training employees on the day that they start, not part of the interview process. Also, they make you answer 6 forum posts and give you other unnecessary homework to test you "abilities". They did tell me that they were behind on forum posts, which further suggests that they were looking for free labour. I'm not sure if this is even legal...
Overall, negative interview experience. The process is pointlessly long and disorganized. Would not recommend.

Overall very pleasant. People and office are amazing and the interviews are pretty casual. HOWEVER, their interview process is insanely long - literally spent over a month doing different kinds of tests/interviews for them before they told me they weren't moving forward with me.
