J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Shopify

- Pre interview I did a "Test" - this is a stretch. Feel I was half doing an SAT and half doing a 5 year olds homework. Stared at various images and tried to identify differences. Someone at Shopify clearly thinks this is a good idea, but I was 80% likely to drop out. Didn't have a lot of interviews going so just stuck with it, I guess.
- First interview just appeared in my calendar, called "Initial Vetting" - if intentionally 'sharp' great work, otherwise really odd title
- Wasn't even clear who I was talking to in the first interview
- Clear disconnect on comp on the first interview, but the manager just kinda rolled with it and strung me along
- Second interview: Tried to clarify comp again, was told my the recruiter the Hiring Manager was misinformed and we couldn't find what I was looking for
- The second interview continued anyways, with "Life Story". Pretty odd - kinda just talked about my life. Very little back and forth. Might be because we both realized there was no point
- Was quickly followed with a rejection via email to finally put this nightmare to bed

My interview process at Shopify has left me with an incredibly positive view of the company and an eagerness to join their team. My Talent Acquisition Specialist was friendly and welcoming and while I applied for one job, I ended up interviewing for another. It was definitely a unique experience to the traditional interview process.
