Prior to the interview, I was asked to take two online assessments.
The first part consisted of a timed test with 40 questions—half were SAT-style algebra problems, while the other half involved identifying identical images from sets of four. It felt more like an IQ test puzzle than a traditional interview assessment.
The second part was a behavioral test that repeatedly asked similar questions in different formats. Things like "people are only successful due to luck", "it's okay to break the rules if other people are too", "I have a positive outlook".
The actual interview was with the hiring manager rather than HR, which was a welcome change. The conversation flowed naturally and felt engaging until we reached the math problem during the interview, which seemed like a standardized requirement imposed by Corporate.
