I applied online, referencing I'd been referred by someone internally. I got an email thanking me for applying. Then I heard... NOTHING. Terrible communication. No "sorry but no." Nothing. Really bad experience. Makes me feel bad that I wasted someone at Slack's time talking about the role/asking if I should apply.

My resume was screened and then I did a phone screen with the recruiting manager. It was a very straightforward interview where they were looking to see how well my experience aligned with the more granular details of what they're looking for.
