From initial phone interview to inperson interview was about 2 months. The phone screen was typical, approximately 30 minutes and very easy. Scheduling the inperson took a long time and had to be rescheduled several times. I meet 1:1 with a few people, then had a group interview. I found it interesting that one person in the group, who I later found out was a fairly junior person, was quite hostile. She made the interview process somewhat uncomfortable. The other 4 people in the group were friendly and open. Since Starbucks has been going through a lot of layoffs, it has made it for an unusual work environment. There were a lot of scarcastic jokes made within the group about the environment. I have been told that all members of a group interview must agree on the canidate or an offer will not be made.
