      Entretien pour Store Manager

Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Starbucks (New York, NY) en août 2009

      Entretien

I just had the second interview so I haven't received any feedback as to whether I am being made an offer or not. The process has been somewhat pleasant but a little intense. I was approached by a recruiter via email initially and contacted her expressing interest. She asked me to complete an application online and complete an hour-long online assessment. The next day I received a phone call from the recruiter asking me to schedule time for a phone interview. The phone interview was behavioral which is a little weird over the phone. I was asked my current salary and what other companies I was interviewing with (unprofessional). So after the phone interview she asked me to schedule time for a face-to-face interview with two District Managers. They only had one time slot available for the next two weeks (not very flexible). I had to completely rearrange the entire schedule of my current store's managers to be able to attend this interview. I guess the DMs had been doing interviews all day because by 3:00 when I was scheduled for my interview they looked completely beat (um hello you sell coffee - drink it!). They had other applicants resumes all over the tables (the interview was in the store surrounded by customers). The interview wasn't hard and mostly consisted of behavioral questions again. Unfortunately, I didn't get the impression that either of these people cared about getting to know me at all. It seemed like this interview was just another test to see if I could give them the answers that they were looking for. At the beginning they actually did mention that they would be "computing my scores" and making a decision based on that. About half-way through the interview one of the DMs actually started starring into space and yawned when I was giving an answer to one of their questions. I got the impression that they had made a decision about my employ-ability before the interview even started. Unless disinterest and yawning is another form of a behavioral interview test to see how i react to complete rudeness! Either way, I don't know if I would be interested in working for this company after the interview experiences, which is weird considering what an amazing reputation this company has.

Super easy. Applied online. A recruiter reached out for initial interview, was about 15-30 minutes. Recruiter set up second interview with DM and peer DM for the following week. After that, was interviewed by the regional.

Two district sanagers interviewing over Microsoft Teams. Extensive, heavy "STAR" use required in questions with follow up questions from interviewers. 5 questions for me but our interview went nearly an hour, overall friendly.

You first have a screen with the recruiter, and she sets up time to speak with you. If you pass that, you get sent to the DM and interview with that DM and another DM and then usually decision after that.
